Two modern vases, one small and one large, with a single flower in the larger vase, placed on a white surface against a plain background.
Fictional ceramic vase with black, tan, and cream colors on a white surface against a plain white background.

This project consist of an experimentation with leather, using the medieval technique of « boiled leather ».

Formed with water then hardened with beeswax, leather acquires new properties while conserving its characteristic look.
Using four moulded pieces I created my first collection of three vases in the context of the diploma project at l‘Ecal and mentored by Laura Bethan Wood.
The results of theses experimentations with moulded leather inspired me to continue in the search of new shapes and applications.
